Three years of practice,
not three slides of theory.

Most AI training was built in 2024 or 2025, after the AI Fluency Framework was published. Spark teaches the practice that came first. The Darla Method has been in active corporate use since January 2023 (Day 32 of ChatGPT's public existence) and taught publicly from October 2023 onward, over two years before the academic framework that later articulated similar territory was published.

When Anthropic, University College Cork, Ringling College of Art and Design, the Higher Education Authority of Ireland, and the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning co-badged the AI Fluency Framework, the alignment with what was already being taught was so complete that the first Anthropic Academy course was completed without working through the material at all. The practice was already three years deep.

Spark teaches both layers: the academic articulation (the 4Ds) and the practice that came before (the Darla Method, particularly the persona-led entry move that no framework yet describes). Thirteen Anthropic Academy courses completed. Twelve certificates issued. 550+ professionals trained across nine countries. Real engagements, real outcomes, refined across every one.

Between sessions, you apply each step to your real work, and David is available asynchronously for specific questions. The cadence is built so the practice embeds rather than fades after the final session.

Spark is 1:1, individual scope, six weeks. Team is multi-person cohort training for a single function (typically 8 to 25 people) running over eight to twelve weeks. Transform is a whole-organisation programme spanning leadership and multiple functions over fourteen to twenty weeks. Enterprise is the global multinational tier with multi-region rollout and David embedded as fractional Chief AI Officer. All four share the same teaching foundation, the 4D AI Fluency Framework, with the Darla Method as the practice layer underneath.
